These extraordinary properties are a treat to witness. One would even say imagination defies gravity when it comes to the following accommodations. Prepared to have your mind blown?

Giraffe Manor

The Liberty Hotel, Boston, USA

This hotel used to be the Charles Street Jail, which was built in 1851. It was designed by the architect Gridley James Fox Bryant and is known for its Gothic Revival style. It's also famous for housing some notorious inmates, including Malcolm X and Albert DeSalvo.

Hotell Hackspett, Sweden

In Sweden, you will find the Hotell Hackspett, located in Vasaparken, the main park in Västerås. It's interesting and on this list because it is built 13 meters up in the branches of a huge oak tree. This structure was designed by the well-known artist: Mikael Genberg.

The hotel looks like a classic Swedish red cottage playfully hung up in a tree. It's actually suspended with strong wires to keep the tree safe. Oh, and no nails were used when it was being built. Guests literally had to access the hotel via a rope ladder.
