Do You Live In One Of America's Best Biking Cities?

A Cyclist's City

More and more of us are biking to work, to school—even to the corner store. But depending on what city you live in, the bicycling experience can be pure joy or kind of a headache. These are the 50 best cities across the country for cyclists.

Methodology

This ranking comes from ExploreWorldWide and takes into consideration five factors:

Bike infrastructure data (based on the miles of protected bike lanes and miles of bike lanes overall); Bikeshare reports (available bike sharing programs and infrastructure); Bike commuter ranking (how many people per capita commute by bike); Temperature (and the average hottest and coldest days in each city); and Safety ratings for bicyclists.
